Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 12:16PM Laura took two riders and three horses to this Texas horse trials:
Madeline and Ari won the Open Intermediate division (you should see the pictures of some of the cross-country jumps!) and Deanie, with Madeline aboard, completed his first Preliminary event in 14th place (Mads took it easy on his first cross-country course at this level to build confidence so they had time penalties but had no x-c jumpp penalties).
Christina Henriksen and Princess Pavan had a good early season showing in the large Open Preliminary division, finishing 11th. They, too, took it easy time-wise on cross-country but had no jump penalties.
All-in-all, it was a good weekend and horses, riders and trainer all came home safe and sound.
