September 26th - 29th, AECs

AECs were a great success for Colorado in general but Team PSEC in particular! Laura summed it up best on her Facebook post: "What an incredible time Team PSEC had the American Eventing Championships!!! Besides the stellar riding (more to come on that!) we had a great time taking advantage of EVERY party that was offered, getting signatures from Olympic riders, getting pulled over by the golf cart police (who knew???!!!), sitting pool side and all the mango tea we could drink. I would like to personally thank Kris and Emma Ciafone, Chris, Marilyn and Grace Simpson, Janet Gordon, Sophie Mueller, Amy Dalrymple, Madeline Backus, Leslie Terry and Jenn (Leslie's Aide!!) for a joyous time. I am very blessed to have clients that I love to spend time with outside of horses!!"

As far as the competing went...PSEC really represented!!!
Madeline Backus on Deanie won their division from start to finish and are the American Eventing Champions at Jr. Training!! She also came in 7th with Arianna!!!
Janet Gordon and Bestie are the Reserve AEC Champions (reserve BY ONLY ONE SECOND!!!) in the Novice Amateur Division
Grace Simpson and Rapport had a very good show until an unlucky rail to put them just out of the ribbons in a very large and competitive Jr. Novice division
and
Emma Ciafone and Gabe won the JR Beginner Novice Division!! They, too are American Eventing Champions.
We feel so proud and very happy that you were all rewarded for your hard work throughout the years!!
