July 27th Rebecca Farm

A successful day at Rebecca farm. Cora and Cuervo ended up 3rd in their preliminary division. Noa and Farah ended up 3rd in her novice 3 day division. Farah is now a newly minted classic format horse. Janet got around with 2 rails in show jumping and rode Bestie just how he needed to be ridden. Rio decided today was the day to play pick up stix in show jumping. He had two good days of competition but today just wasn't his day to show jump. He ended up 17th in the training 3 day. Jena and magic rocked around their 1st 2 star course.it Was so fun to see them come in with big smiles.

July 6th Round Top HT Results

And the final results are..........

OT
Madeline and Rio continued their winning streak!!
Noa and Farah did an absolutley amazing job attacking a very difficult Xc to be the only other combo to finish without jump faults. Some xc time and a few DJ faults landed them in 3rd In a division where over half of the entries didnt complete
ON
Madeline on Lulu and Liz on Brodie were a one-two punch finishing 1st and 2nd respectively
BN
Melissa and Titus came in 5th in a very competitive BN division
Madeline on Everest produced an 18.1 in dressage and proceeded to win their division...even with a stop on XC...proving the adage....dressage wins it, jumping loses it
Polly continued her successful streak coming in 2nd, right behind Madeline and Everest
Congrats everyone
Next stop...REBECCA!!

LAST CALL TO SIGN UP FOR PSEC’S JULY 15th-17th EVENTING CAMP

There's still time to sign up for PSEC's July 15th-17th 3-day eventing camp as there are a couple of spots left. I have pasted the information below.

Please let me know if you'd like to attend and I'll email the application form to you.

This three day long camp is for riders with some eventing experience ages 15 through adult interested in the next step in education of the sport of eventing. Students will have mounted lessons and further their knowledge in areas of dressage, jumping and showing, as well as unmounted sessions on trailering safety, bandaging, lunging, equine nutrition, equine maintenance and/or horse health care. No overnight stay is required but can be accommodated for if interested. Participants need to be at PSEC no later than 7:30 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m. The cost of this camp is $350.00 (does not include meals; please bring your own food) - your horse or our school horse. Maximum participants 8/Min 5. Pre-registration with $50.00 deposit required. This camp is informative and FUN. Hone up your skills in a relaxed but invigorating atmosphere, one that is "outside the box" of the usual training program in that you have the opportunity to spend three days with your horse (or ours) learning new things and perfecting old ones. Call Leslie @ 303.688.4147 for the application form or if you need more information.
