August 24th, PSEC RMDS-recognized Dressage Show

PSEC’s RMDS show this year was smaller than usual so the officials (Julie, Mindy, Laura, Leslie and Mike from On-Site EMTs) and competitors enjoyed a relaxed day. That doesn’t mean competition wasn’t stiff, because the competitors came ready to ride their best tests.

Emma Ciafone riding Gabe won Training 1 and Training 2 with scores of 70.0 and 71.25 respectively. Their scores also won them the Training Championship.

Second place in Training 1 was Gennifer Guistina and Vincenzo with a score of 68.542. They also came in second in Training 2 with a score of 66.964. Their score won them the Training level Reserve Champion title.

Training 3 was won by Grace Simpson riding O.K. to Dream (67.60) with second going to Brooke Bolen and Acute Velocity (66.40).

First 1 was won by Grace Simpson riding O.K. to Dream (64.828) with second place going to Wendy Lepine riding Out of Reach (62.414).

Madeline Backus and Arianna won First 3 with a score of 71.935 and Second 1 with a score of 65.429, were 1^st/2nd level Champion and had the high score of the day.

Jake Ciafone and Act With Pride were right behind them finishing second in both of those classes with 64.839 and 62.714 respectively.
